Switch Control allows those with disabilities to use an iPhone/iPad by sequentially highlighting items on the screen, known as “Scanning", that are activated by switches through an iPad Switch Interface.

You’ll need switches, between 1 or 2, that you can activate easily, I like the Micro Light Switch

You'll Need One of the Following Apple Devices

iPhones (4 & Above), iPod Touch (5th Gen. & Above), iPad 2, iPad (3rd Gen. & Above), iPad Mini, iPad Air

Screen - lets you select an item by simply tapping anywhere on the screen

Camera - lets you select an item thought the camera by head movement

Point "Scanning" Mode: lets you select items by pinpointing it with scanning crosshairs.

Item "Scanning" Mode: alternately highlights item or group of items on the screen until you trigger your switch to select the highlighted item. When you select a group, highlighting continues with the items in the group. Scanning stops and a Menu (the Control Menu) of Basic Actions plus a small Slider, below them, which reveals all available Secondary Actions and Options

Control Menu: Menu of Basic Scanning Actions and a small Slider, below them, which when selected reveals all other available Actions, Options, and Scanning Settings for the Highlighted Item

Available Actions Depends on Item Selected

Switching the Modes: Activate the Control Menu and select Slider, then select Item Mode to switch to Point Mode or Point Mode to switch to Item Mode

Back Out of Item Grouping or Control Menu: Activate Switch when Highlighted Line around the Group turns to a Dashed Line.  To close the Control Menu, Activate Switch when  Icons in the Menu all Grey-Out
